Entitled “Assessment of Environmental Benefits,” the seminar aims to review the concepts, methods and evaluations for strategic environmental assessment and to discuss legal procedures in place and assess the effectiveness of legislation and the use of modern technology in the development of tools for promoting and strengthening procedures and evaluation processes. The plant was notified about the leak after an oil slick resulting from the leak floated on sea water and reached the boundaries of a nearby oil company.
